Dear Readers, we wish you a Happy Christmas and a Joyful New Year
with three little gifts…
1st There’s nothing like celebrating Christmas in a BARN, so come along to my previous church house (and barn!) group with Tilehurst Free Church (Baptist) for Carols From Bucklebury on Christmas Eve, ITV1 at 11.15pm. (The farm is actually outside Bradfield, just a few miles down the road from Kate Middleton’s home village. The barn is always packed out for its three Nativity services.)
‘A traditional candle-lit carol service from rural Berkshire, where villagers join together in a rustic barn to celebrate the story of the nativity. Kate Garraway meets members of this pastoral community as they prepare for Christmas with traditional carols including Silent Night, In the Bleak Midwinter and O Come All Ye Faithful.’ (DigiguideTV)
2nd a real ‘hoot’, which surprised us at the church we visited last Sunday
– the winning entry from ITV’s competition, Nativity Factor – Beatbox Nativity!
– an instant hit on YouTube from the Lyme Regis area, Devon!
3rd Greetings to all Christians from Benjamin Netanyahu, PM of Israel
