resurrect in this Atmosphere for I have heard the groanings

Lord and I have not come to sit down
with you in your sackcloth and Ashes and
weep with you but I have come down to
pull you up out of the mire and I am
going to bring you up and out into a
large land sayeth the Lord where there is
a land of milk and honey and the
blessing of God shall be upon thee and
the Heavens are being opened by the hand
of God this hour over the people of the
Lord uh and the prayers of the Saints
have opened the heavens and there is
going to be much movement of angels
saith God coming forth from Heaven down
to the Earth and from Earth up to heaven
and also sayeth the Lord the angels of
God are going to lay hold on demon
spirits and not take them up into the
heavens but pull them down to the pit of
hell and bind them with chains for this
is a new season sayeth the Lord for the
rest of this year evil begin to diminish
and righteousness will begin to flourish
and when
2025 hit sayeth God it is the beginning
of a great opening in heaven where the
windows of God are opened by the spirit
of the Lord and the storehouses of God
are going to begin to be empty
Hallelujah I am going to cause angels to
be so busy because they’re going to work
as men in a warehouse and I am going to
tell them empty out the storehouse of
God and the windows of Heaven are being
opened and out of those windows are
going to begin to come answers to
long-term prayers long-term healings
uh Miracles are going to be released by
the power of God the spirit of heaviness
that has been upon my people that has
waited you down uh I am breaking that
Spirit sayeth the Lord uh and there’s
going to be a lightness that’s going to
get a hold of thee you’re going to begin
to rise as a bloom fill with helium uh
and you’re going to begin to ascend into
high places and even as the wing Eagle
spreads its wings and begins to fly in
the atmosphere so am I giving Wings to
the people of God for this hour and the
weights that have so easily beset thee
that have held on to thee not the sin
for you are not with sin but the weights
that the enemy is attached to you uh
that have held you down uh the sword of
the Lord which is the prophetic word of
God uh that’s being released out of the
spirit hallelujah it’s going to begin to
cut loose the weights that have been
upon thee uh and I’m going to cause you
to begin to arise Hallelujah with
healing in your wings uh for I pray
pronounce over this house the blessing
of God uh for there has been evil men
and women there has been witchcraft that
has pronounced a curse against this
house and against the people of the Lord
uh but I say this day uh that I am
reversing the curse and what the enemy
intended for evil I am going to declare
for good uh and what the enemy said
would happen to you uh I’m going to make
happen to them uh there’s going to be a
wailing begin to come up out of the
realm of evil men and women in this
nation uh and for what they have done to
you uh I am going to cause the angels to
do to them uh for this is not an hour
sayeth the Lord uh that the church is
going to be into demise uh but even I
have raised up in this hour we’re going
to invade New York City saith God for I
have already said that when the wave of
God hits the United States of America it
would start on the East Coast
there is a tital wave saith god of the
glory of the Lord uh that is getting
ready to hit the east coast and even as
New York City it’s the heart of Finance
it’s the heart of the United Nations
Madison Square Garden is the heart of
entertainment uh over this nation uh and
God says I’m going to the stronghold of
the enemy uh and I’m going to invade it
by the power of God uh there will be no
demise there will be no aspect that the
enemy can perpetrate on my purpose uh
for I have raised men up for this hour
sayeth the Lord uh I am yanking them out
of obscurity I’m yanking them out of the
pit of despair uh I am pulling them out
of the places of being unknown uh and
I’m going to take a people who were not
a people and I’m going to make them the
people of the Lord uh I’m going to take
a people that were despised and for your
shame I’m going to give you double say
the Lord and the hand of God shall be
your portion sayeth the Lord.”

Just wondering. Why is it that God often speaks in modern speech or sometimes in the way a person can understand (simple or slang type words perhaps). but then, as in the above post, words like ‘saith’ and ‘thee’ are used? Not that one can’t understand those words, but unless these words are used for exactness or clarity, why aren’t ‘says’ and ‘you’ used? Unless the person receiving the prophecy normally reads an older version of the Bible. Maybe that’s the reason why? I find that God is usually very exact with His words and wording, even when using less formal language. I just find it a bit odd, that’s all. But who am I to question how God speaks!

I suppose Phil, it’s because our own intellect is the interpreting vehicle of what our spirit gets from Holy Spirit. So if we’ve been soaked in the older lingo of King James Version, or decided it’s a holier way of referring to the Lord, then it gets conveyed that way.
As far as the Holy SPirit’s concerned the message of Truth is the vital thing (and English wasn’t used with the first disciples or OT prophets).

Thanks for your reply. I did think maybe it’s because some people have mainly read or listened to the old King James. But it does get in the way a little for me to try and discern if the message is from God (it can give the impression that the person is trying to make it look like it’s from God because more or less obsolete language is used. But perhaps I’m being cynical!) But I do know God speaks in ways people can comprehend. I remember years ago moaning about someone to God and he replied to me using a word I’d heard of but I didn”t know the exact meaning. So I looked it up. He did that another time about something as well. But I guess he knows I’m the sort of person who’s interested in words and language and WOULD look it up. But in both cases he used a lovely, precise word. And put me in my place about the issue! I love the old book of Common Prayer actually because the language therein is great. Somehow seems to convey more meaning than the modern version.

Yes Phil, it’s usually in a different way for each person. As a newbie I wondered how to hear from God and would He talk? I was driving at time and stopped at traffic lights. Next, I saw a chap sitting on nearby wall and lady drew close and whispered in his ear.
Then I got clear insight that’s exactly how our Papa chats with us!
