Rick Davis: Whirlwind of Holy Spirit over the UK

Thank you to Rick Davis at Prophetic Releasers for the UK Revival for this word about the Holy Spirit’s whirlwind, which develops upon recent ones published on this blog, especially the latest from Tony Puccio in Tucson:

“Just now, as I was praying for, and declaring concerning Brexit, I saw in the Spirit a whirlwind, a tornado over the UK. The interesting thing was that, though the top of the tornado remained stationary, the bottom, where it touched the ground, moved in ever-widening circles from the center of the big island outward, eventually, I was made to know, to not only tear down and prepare for the building up of all the Isles, but also of Europe, and even further afield.

“Holy Spirit wind is blowing in the UK, and will bring change and its effects throughout the earth in ever widening patterns of influence and change. Nothing will stand in Holy Spirit’s way of change or be able to withstand its affect on whatever nation, region, tribe or tongue it touches.

“It is time for this”, says the Lord! “The time is NOW! No more delay!”

“Amen!”

NI-Eire Prophecy Update #17: Boris, Leo, Donald and Brussels

When this series started in early March with Emma Stark’s prophecy about Dublin being key to the Backstop and Ireland issues I appended my personal trail on this matter and surmised that, in being an integral part of the whole British Isles, Ireland would be better being as separate from the EU as we are geographically from continental Europe. Later I mentioned an answer may lie in both nations eventually getting closer to the USA than EU, especially as such a politico-economic grouping would cover the Irish diaspora.

This afternoon’s news, however, reports our PM Boris Johnson as having ‘clashed with his Irish counterpart Leo Varadkar in their first phone call since he took office. Downing Street confirmed that during the phone call the Prime Minister “made clear that the UK will be leaving the EU on October 31, no matter what.”

‘Mr Johnson told the Taoiseach that, while he will approach Brexit negotiations in “a spirit of friendship,” any fresh deal must see the backstop abolished.

‘However, the Irish Government said Mr Varadkar told Mr Johnson that the emergency measure to prevent a hard border on the island was “necessary as a consequence” of UK decisions. “Alternative arrangements could replace the backstop in the future, as envisaged in the Withdrawal Agreement and the Political Declaration on the future relationship, but thus far satisfactory options have yet to be identified and demonstrated,” a Dublin spokesperson said. 

‘During the call Mr Johnson reaffirmed his commitment to upholding the Good Friday Agreement and to “never put” physical checks or infrastructure on the border, a No 10 spokeswoman said. “The Prime Minister made clear that the Government will approach any negotiations which take place with determination and energy, and in a spirit of friendship, and that his clear preference is to leave the EU with a deal, but it must be one that abolishes the backstop,” she added.

‘The Taoiseach has since invited Mr Johnson to Dublin to “further their respective analyses on Brexit“. (Emphasis mine)

We pray that Boris will accept Leo’s invitation and spend time in Dublin to encourage radical, ‘subversively’ positive changes to this ‘backstop’ issue, as indicated in the prophecy.

For deeper background information I offer the following extracts from my weekend’s reading, especially as we’re now at the close of the prophesied 9 months of shaking and birthing from last October to this month. Boris Johnson knows Brussels better than anyone. He’s not bluffing about no-deal (Daniel Hannan)

‘...I have known Boris for 25 years, and he is the cleverest man I have worked with. Sure, he is well-mannered enough to keep his sharpness under wraps, but don’t ever make the mistake of thinking that his Falstaffian persona implies intellectual levity. 

‘He knows exactly what he is doing, especially when it comes to Brussels – the place he went to school, and to which he returned in 1989 as the Daily Telegraph’s correspondent. No British politician has a keener appreciation of how the EU works, how its policies are made, how its deals are brokered. Where Mrs May deferred instinctively to her civil servants, Boris understands this subject better than they do…

‘What happens next? There is a small possibility that the EU might compromise. Plenty of its leaders concede, in private, that there is a logical case for dropping the Irish backstop. The choice, after all, is between losing the backstop and keeping everything else (the money, citizens’ rights, etc) and losing the whole lot. But, as Boris is well aware, the EU’s attitude has as much to do with face as with logic. The backstop has taken on symbolic importance in Brussels. A scheme originally devised to keep the UK permanently subject to EU trade policy has been publicly presented as a guarantor of the Good Friday Agreement, and some Eurocrats have talked themselves into half-believing it.

‘In Dublin, where the issue is better understood, no one seriously thinks that there will be a physical border, deal or no deal. The trouble is that the backstop has now become a matter of national pride. Although every estimate suggests that a no-deal outcome would hit Ireland worse than the UK, Leo Varadkar’s interests do not overlap with those of his country. Leading a slightly poorer Ireland, but being hailed as a tough-minded patriot, must seem more appealing than leading a slightly richer Ireland (for which he would get no credit) while being howled down as a West Brit….’

‘…I say “no trade deal” rather than “no deal” because I have voted as an MEP on more than a dozen measures providing for continuity in aviation, road haulage and so on. Still, tariffs and other trade barriers are a challenge. Although, in theory, the EU and the UK could agree a simple “zero-for-zero” tariff deal pending talks on a more ambitious treaty, in practice we must be ready for a more vindictive attitude. At every stage so far, Brussels has put politics before economics, making it clear that it is prepared to see all sides suffer if necessary.

‘So how would Britain respond to an EU that, following no deal, made good on its threat to make commerce conditional on the backstop? In such a situation, we would have no choice. Rather than negotiate under duress, we would need to pivot to the Anglosphere, prioritising trade deals with the United States and the Commonwealth…’ 

Why Donald Trump might be the key to unlocking the damned backstop (Jeremy Warner)

‘…The key here is not so much persuading the EU to shift stance as Ireland. For the EU as a whole, the backstop holds little significance. It’s basically only there to satisfy the Irish, who in practical terms are now faced with a classic Hobson’s choice; either a softish border at some point in the future, or the certainty of a hard, economically destructive border with the UK in little more than three months’ time. In a rational world, Leo Varadkar, Ireland’s premier, would choose the former.

‘Donald Trump sees Brexit as an opportunity to bring Britain within the American orbit. But reconciling the Brits and the Irish? For an American president, there are few prospects more appetising, and for this consummate showman, it may be too much to resist. There may yet be a role for him to play as peacemaker. The UK trade deal can wait…’

Varadkar can blame Britain all he likes – but he is the real threat to peace (Nick Timothy – joint chief-of-staff to PM Mrs May, resigned after 2017 general election)

‘…When Varadkar became Taoiseach, back in 2017, the most pressing decision he faced was how to handle Brexit. Britain’s vote to leave the European Union was obviously unwelcome. It was a nasty reminder that British decisions can still impinge on Irish sovereignty and that, thanks to geography and history, Ireland’s interests remain closely aligned with those of the UK….

‘With Varadkar’s connivance, Brussels weaponised the Northern Irish border – and with it the peace process – to lock the UK into a customs union and a colonial status in which we would have to follow EU laws. And so the “backstop”, the Withdrawal Agreement protocol that binds either Northern Ireland or the whole of the UK to the EU’s customs union and many of its laws, was invented.

‘It is easy to see why this approach tempted Varadkar and his allies in Brussels. It suits them very well to keep the UK tied to European laws. It must also have been hugely enjoyable for a young Taoiseach, and his deputy, Simon Coveney, to lord it over Ireland’s former imperial masters…

‘My judgment is that Theresa May liked and wanted the backstop. She believed she had succeeded in splitting the EU’s fabled “four freedoms” – of goods, services, capital and people – by remaining in a customs territory with the EU while allowing Britain to control immigration. But this misunderstood the meaning of Brexit.

‘Leaving the EU means leaving its laws and institutions in full. It means Britain being free to decide its destiny. The Withdrawal Agreement means the opposite. As Brendan Simms, the Irish historian, says, the backstop would give the Irish government more say over important parts of the UK economy than the UK government. Whether applied to Northern Ireland alone or the UK economy as a whole, this Irish or European suzerainty over British sovereign territory would be unacceptable purely on democratic terms…

‘These are not the only ways in which Varadkar has played fast and loose with peace in Northern Ireland. Lord Trimble, one of the architects of the peace process, explained in a Policy Exchange paper last week how the backstop has “driven [the Good Friday Agreement] into the ditch”. This is because – both in the way it was conceived and the way it would work – the backstop studiously ignores the consent principle that is vital to government in Northern Ireland. As Simon Coveney said about unionist opposition to the backstop: “We cannot allow one party in Northern Ireland to veto any proposals.”

Dublin’s policy was bold, audacious and very nearly successful. Varadkar has sought to impose humiliating terms on Ireland’s larger and more powerful neighbour. He has tried to turn a bilateral peace process between the UK and Ireland into a political standoff between the UK and the EU. And he has abused the Good Friday Agreement for his own ends, while shamelessly accusing Brexit supporters of endangering the peace process.

‘Under Theresa May, the UK almost succumbed. But now Boris Johnson is holding firm. When he visits Northern Ireland this week he should not be shy in pointing out who is risking a no-deal outcome and a hard border in Ireland. It is not the United Kingdom, but Leo Varadkar.

‘The backstop is supposed to stop a hard border, but by making the Withdrawal Agreement unratifiable, it is making no-deal and a hard border more likely. There can only be one solution: the backstop must go.’

New PM Boris brings Biblical blessing to Britain

Now [in Haran] the LORD said to Abram, “Go for yourself [for your own advantage] away from your country, from your relatives and your father’s house, to the land that I will show you.

“And I will make of you a great nation and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others].

“And I will bless those who bless you [who confer prosperity or happiness upon you] and curse him who curses or uses insolent language towards you; in you ALL the families and kindred of the earth will be blessed [and by you they will bless themselves].” (Genesis 12:1-3 Amp Bible – link to blogs on these vital verses)

After blogging about Tomi Arayomi prophesying about Boris Johnson as our new Prime Minister and inserting a few news clippings I got around to reading what had arrived in my in-tray..: New UK Prime Minister Descended From Rabbi: “Feels Jewish”.

Reading this article gave me a better grip on the deeper nature of his friendship with Donald Trump, which I’d inserted in the previous within minutes of publication.

According to ‘Archbishop’ Cranmer, Boris was baptised in the Roman Catholic church yet confirmed in the Church of England whilst at Eton, and became Prime Minister on the liturgical feast day of St Boris!

Read the above Breaking Israel News article for Boris Johnson’s lineage in depth, but here’s extracts of Biblical relevance for Britain being blessed by his appreciation of the Jewish people and their national state of Israel:

‘Johnson was born in New York City in 1964 to British parents. Though pale and blond, he has an especially colorful lineage, with an intriguing combination of religions represented. He has great-grandparents who were Christian, Muslim, and Jewish and sometimes refers to himself as a “one-man melting pot.”…

‘Throughout his political career, Johnson has been a strong advocate for Israel. Writing for The Jewish Chronicle, Daniella Peled reported in 2007 that Johnson is, “an enemy of politically correct anti-Zionism and immensely proud of his own Jewish ancestry.” She quoted Johnson saying, “I feel Jewish when I feel the Jewish people are threatened or under attack, that’s when it sort of comes out. When I suddenly get a whiff of antisemitism, it’s then that you feel angry and protective.” …

A Hard Worker

‘Writing for Haaretz in 2016, Danna Harman interviewed Johnson’s sister Rachel about the summer she and her brother spent in Israel. (She) reported that Boris’ assignment was to work in the communal kitchen of the kibbutz, “scrubbing pots and pans and sweating it out in the heat of the kitchen, meal after meal.”

‘After their volunteer service ended, the pair traveled around Israel. “They visited Hebron and Bethlehem, hiked up Masada, floated in the Dead Sea and went sightseeing in Jerusalem,” Harman wrote.  While in Jerusalem, Boris, who was a budding journalist, secured an interview with the well-known mayor of Jerusalem Teddy Kollek. Boris’ sister Rachel recalled that “He came back from that interview in a state of great elation.” 

In drawing to a close the author notes, ‘While serving as mayor of London from 2008-2016, Johnson denounced the BDS movement and noted that Israel is the only “pluralist, open society” in the entire Middle East region. He has openly criticized the United Nations Human Rights Council for their obsession with Israel’s so-called human rights violations.

A Trump Ally

‘He called the US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel in 2017 a “moment of opportunity” for peace and, while serving as the UK’s Foreign Secretary in 2018, he met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. 

‘Johnson refers to himself as a “passionate Zionist” who “loves the great country” of Israel. Writing for the Jerusalem Post, Cnaan Liphshiz commented on the uniqueness of Johnson’s self-definition. Given the history of British rule in Palestine before the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, Liphshiz noted that, “British politicians rarely call themselves ‘Zionists’.”

Meantime, back in London yesterday – AT LONG, LONG LAST SOME COMMON SENSE in Boris’ splendid speech after visiting Her Majesty and being asked to form a government.

In particular I note that after referring to “…every corner of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland – the awesome foursome (RB, per recent prophecies!) – that are incarnated in that red, white and blue flag, who together are so much more than the sum of their parts…”  Boris goes on to say (emphasis mine):

“Everyone knows the values that flag represents. It stands for freedom and free speech and habeas corpus and the rule of law and above all it stands for democracy and that is why we will come out of the EU on October 31 because, in the end, Brexit was a fundamental decision by the British people that they wanted their laws made by people that they can elect and they can remove from office, and we must now respect that decision and create a new partnership with our European friends –  as warm and as close and as affectionate as possible.

“And the first step is to repeat unequivocally our guarantee to the 3.2m EU nationals now living and working among us. And I say directly to you – thank you for your contribution to our society, thank you for your patience, and I can assure you that under this Government you will get the absolute certainty of the rights to live and remain.

“And next I say to our friends in Ireland, and in Brussels and around the EU, I am convinced that we can do a deal without checks at the Irish border, because we refuse under any circumstances to have such checks and yet without that anti-democratic backstop. And it is of course vital at the same time that we prepare for the remote possibility that Brussels refuses any further to negotiate and we are forced to come out with no-deal, not because we want that outcome – of course not – but because it is only common sense to prepare…”  (Read in full BJ’s First Speech As Prime Minister)

NI-Eire Prophecy Update #16: Ulster-only ‘backstop’?

Roger Jervois keeping watch in South Africa has this update on Wednesday’s news for  Emma Stark’s prophetic word on the DUP and Irish Republic’s PM and Brexit:

“Encouraging signs from the NI/Eire situation as Leo Varadkar exerts more positive influence. He has publicly endorsed what amounts to an acceptance of the Alternative Arrangements working group, which both Boris and Jeremy Hunt are in favour of. This is great news (per BBC News. Veradkhar: NI-only backstop could avoid hard border)

‘Taoiseach (Irish Prime Minister) Leo Varadkar said a NI-only backstop would “not go down well with the DUP”, but that it is still an option. 

‘The taoiseach said that while he can see a route to avoid a hard border, the Republic is still stepping up its preparations for one. He said “One option is to revert to the proposal of a backstop in Northern Ireland and not the rest of the UK.”

Last night’s Telegraph Online reports German Chancellor being supportive of Leo’s ideas…“This is easily the biggest coup that Leo has engineered…..zowie!” (RJ)

Fulfilled Prophecy #13 cont’d: British MEPs turn their backs on EU’s pagan anthem

Not being online full-time I haven’t done a update for the weekend’s many items on deepening problems in the EU that are bringing its prophesied downfall. So I trust my readers have been keeping up with the news, of which this popped up today about the opening of the EU Parliament after recent elections of MEPs, of which the Brexit Party is the largest single party within that parliament!  Maybe that’s a benefit of not having left the EU as agreed on 29th March and thus having to take part in those elections?

Veronika West notes and prophesies:

Veronika West: warning of Westminster wolves in sheep’s clothing

After taking late lunch, after posting the possibly prophetic photo of Boris Johnson, I find Veronika West has posted a warning on her Facebook about what’s arising within Tory party’s elections to replace the Prime Minister.

In WARNING; WOLVES IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING..! she republishes today’s article in Westmonster in full and says these people have an ungodly agenda because they’re being used by the enemy “to dismantle the divine work of God in our nation”. Whilst they claim to have the ‘National interest’ at heart, they’re actually “working behind the scenes to betray our sovereignty and destroy our birthright.”

PRAY THESE MEN ARE TRULY EXPOSED…

Westmonster’s article, one of several published today, reads as follows:

‘Dark horse Conservative leadership candidate, Rory Stewart, has claimed that he and 100 other Conservative MPs would try to stop a No Deal Brexit. That isn’t going to go down with the pro-Brexit Conservative grassroots.

‘Speaking at a hustings for lobby journalists in Westminster yesterday, Stewart said: “We can stop a No Deal Brexit much more easily than that. I, and nearly 100 of my colleagues, would vote to prevent a No Deal Brexit without having to bring down a Conservative government.”

‘Stewart has frequently spoken out against leaving the EU on WTO terms, preferring instead to stick to Theresa May’s bad deal that has already been rejected three times in Parliament.

‘The Institute for Government have studied how a No Deal Brexit could be delivered and said: “A new Prime Minister intent on No Deal Brexit can’t be stopped by MPs.”
Their analysis is that: “If a new Prime Minister is set on No Deal, then they have no need for further ‘meaningful votes’. That denies MPs an opportunity to vote to take control of the timetable again.

“And the No Deal provision in the EU Withdrawal Act 2018 – which would have required the Government to hold a vote in the Commons if no agreement had been reached with the EU by 21 January – has long expired.”

‘Rory Stewart and others may want to block a WTO Brexit – but a strong Brexiteer Prime Minister must take them on. Particularly as the likes of Boris Johnson and Dominic Raab are promising to deliver on 31st October, deal or No Deal.’

I pointed out to Veronika the coincidence of our two posts and she reacted to the photo of Boris Johnson by writing,

“YES I BELIEVE ITS POWERFULLY PROPHETIC IN TERMS OF BREXIT. LET’S CONTINUE TO PRAY FERVENTLY THAT THE SOVEREIGNTY AND DESTINY OF OUR NATION IS FULLY RESTORED. WE PRAY THAT THE NEHEMIAH ANOINTING BEGIN TO EMERGE AS OUR NATION IS NOW IN THE SEASON OF BUILDING AND REBUILDING.”

Whilst checking this morning’s US and Middle-East news on William Koenig’s website I espied a photo from 2018 used by yesterday’s Times of Israel, and wondered could it be prophetic? – note subjects’ bodily positions and language with both Union Jack and Boris Johnson standing out as distinctly separate from the EU’s foreign ministers:

Vision of rug pulled from under EU worshipers’ feet

Dave Hood kindly permits me to publish another of his posts, as published on FB group Prophetic Releasers for UK Revival:, and brings most illuminating insights upon current, as based upon Biblical, events:

OVERTURNED

About 8 weeks ago whilst praying regarding Britain, the Lord gave me a picture. I saw a number of men standing on a ‘narrowish’ carpet, almost in line behind one another, in ones or twos. There were about 20 of them, but there could have been more. They were standing facing east and they seemed to be worshiping.

I knew immediately that this scenario was connected to the current political struggle within our nation, which included Brexit.

With help, I discovered that their facing east was a very important detail. It is connected to Ezekiel 8:16 – ‘And He bringeth me in unto the inner court of the house of Jehovah, and lo, at the opening of the temple of Jehovah, between the porch and the altar, about twenty-five men, their BACKS toward the temple of Jehovah, and their faces eastward, and they are bowing themselves eastward to the sun.’

I understood most of these men represented the EU, and that a small portion of this group were from our nation, Great Britain. Through Israel, the Lord God gave to man His calendar for worship, which is based upon the lunar cycle. But through the church, man introduced a different calendar, a solar calendar, which is pagan in origin, focused on the sun.

By facing the sun, in order to worship it, these men had turned their back on the true worship of the True Son, and they were now looking towards Baal, the god whose presence and power underpins their political system. It is this system, with its structures empowered by its false gods, which now controls the lives and purposes of its peoples.

I then heard the Lord say, “I will pull the rug out from underneath them”

Suddenly, seemingly without any delay, I saw Him place His own hands at two corner ends of the rug/carpet and, with a pronounced jerk, He pulled out this rug from under the feet of these men.

This caused the rug to disappear and each and every one of them landed flat on their backs, in a heap, as their legs gave way beneath them. They were left shocked and dazed by the suddenness of what had just happened!

The Lord’s activity was also now exposing, not just the positioning of these men, but also what was now visible ON the floor, which the rug had previously covered, and on which they had previously stood.

God’s desire for this nation and for Europe is to remove us from the EU, it’s false worship system, and the false gods which lie behind it, turning us back to the worship of himself, the only True God. Jesus, speaking of His Father said:

“This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”  (John 17:3)

Therefore, this present struggle with the EU is not merely geographic or geopolitical; it is also the struggle between the church, the body of Christ, and the spiritual powers of this Age.

To confirm and emphasise the above truths, He drew my attention to the conflict between Israel and Egypt, and the flight through the Red Sea (also known as the Sea of Reeds, or the “sea of weaknesses”).  He specifically focused on the confrontation that he engineered at Baal Zephon (Exodus 14:2).

Whilst Israel is fleeing from Egypt’s forces, the Lord tells Israel to do an unusual and unexpected thing. Instead of leading them away to apparent safety, he INTENTIONALLY tells them to head back towards the Egyptians and SEEMINGLY towards danger.

He instructs them to camp opposite Baal Zephon, by the sea. This would mean Baal Zephon would now overshadow their path en-route to safety on the other side. But God had organised and planned all this, in advance.

When Pharaoh saw Israel turn back, his immediate thought was that Israel had now ‘trapped themselves’. However, there was also a second thought in his mind, which concerned his trust in Baal Zephon.

We need to understand that Baal Zephon was now the only recognised god of Egypt that had not been defeated by the 10 plagues. All the other gods had been destroyed, together with their temple sites and their idols.

Baal Zephon was considered the strongest amongst the echelon of Egypt’s gods, even before the 10 plagues. He was known as the Lord of the North, the storm god, the lord of the sea and of tornadoes. Therefore, Pharaoh was not afraid to lead his army into the sea, trusting in Baal Zephon’s protection because this god had not been defeated.

Pharaoh thought he held the ‘trump card’ and that Israel would be powerless against him. So with a high hand Pharaoh lead his armies into the sea in pursuit of Israel. Thus, despite all the plagues, Egypt’s greatest god would be glorified.

Baal means ‘owner’, hence Baal means ‘lord’. But zephon, when used in its feminine sense, as a verb, means to ‘lay out’, to overlay or to cover – as with a carpet.

To overlay, to cover as with a carpet….. All this began with a picture of men standing on a carpet, worshiping whilst facing east – and the words – “I will pull the rug (the carpet) out from underneath them.”

I believe God is saying I have not just targeted those who serve Baal, I have targeted the god that is considered the most strong amongst them, the god they put their trust in. David and Goliath springs to mind.

Though Pharaoh’s gods sought to pull the rug out from underneath “Little Israel”, the LORD engineered a very public defeat of those gods.

In the same way, the gods that lie behind the EU are now seeking to crush the “little UK.” But what is coming is the very public defeat of Baal, the EU’s self-proclaimed king.

He will have the rug pulled out from underneath him, together with all who serve him – And this so reminds me of Haman’s very sudden fate.

Whilst finishing this, I sense Father God is saying, “Though Baal Zephon may be the strongest, the best they have to offer.  I, I have kept the best ’til last.”

By engineering this ‘suddenly’, whilst protecting “little Israel” in her great vulnerability, our Lord God enticed Pharaoh and his “masters” into their decisive defeat.

Thus the LORD demonstrates his great love, his power and wisdom, and his strength and might. He thereby shows his supremacy, not only amongst men and the nations, but to the rulers and powers of this dark age.

He is sending this victory to encourage us, His people. But also to our nation, and to the nations and peoples of Europe, He sends his powerful message that they can be set free. They too can be delivered and come to know the Saviour, and no longer be enslaved, nor numbered amongst the lost.

Be it so, Father God, unto them and unto us. But also unto you, Our Father, may glory come to your great name, through our Lord Jesus, Amen!  (Ephesians 3:9-10)

NI-Eire Prophecy Update #14: Irish Govt’s Brexit policy ‘is in tatters’, its bluff ‘being called’

On directly opposite sides of the world to one another, Phil View in New Zealand and me here in the UK, noticed yesterday morning an article published in Brexit Central by Dr Ray Bassett, author of politico-economic papers on Ireland, membership of the EU and Brexit, and UK think-tank Policy Exchange’s Senior Fellow on EU Affairs.

Having a lot to catch up online I ran off a hard-copy to read at leisure whilst munching lunch and then replied to his comment on NI-Eire Update #13,

“I note especially, Bassett’s inference that supports my repeated supposition that Eire will be better joining UK & NI outside EU.”

Ray’s credentials are impressive. Having served on ‘the Irish Government Talks Team during the Belfast (Good Friday) Agreement negotiations (later) as Irish Joint Secretary to the British Irish Intergovernmental Conference in Belfast, 2001-2005 (then) headed up the Irish Consular Service and the Irish Abroad Unit (dealing with relations with the Irish Diaspora). Prior to retiring, he was Irish Ambassador to Canada, Jamaica and the Bahamas for six years.’

In reading Ray’s insights into the current Irish and British political situations with the EU, my attention was caught mid-way by:

‘…Meanwhile, our recent guest, the US President, is leaving nobody in any doubt about his support for a true Brexiteer in power in London. A future trade deal between a fully independent UK and the USA, coupled with trade wars between Washington and Brussels, is the stuff of nightmares for Ireland.

‘The London consultancy firm Primary Access, in analysing Irish investment abroad and Foreign Direct Investment in Ireland, stated that “Ireland has €93bn committed to the US, and €88bn to the UK in direct investment abroad; the comparable numbers for France and Germany are €4.4bn and €3.1bn respectively. The same pattern repeats in terms of inward direct investment. The US has €179bn, and the UK €58bn invested in Ireland; France has €15bn and Germany €5bn”.

‘As I have stated on many previous occasions, Ireland’s economic connections with mainland Europe are overwhelmingly those of the multinational (mainly American) companies located within the Republic.

‘If the international climate changes and these companies no longer feel comfortable in Ireland, we will be left with precious little else. In the meantime, our two closest economic and cultural partners, our neighbours to the west and east, as well as home to the majority of our diaspora, will have moved on without us…’  (emphases mine).

So you may readily understand why I was reminded of my personal opinion since 2012, as shared herein, that the Lord may want the WHOLE of the British Isles disconnected from the EU and to become fully independent, either as distinct entities of The United Kingdom & Northern Ireland and of the Republic of Ireland, or as a harmonious politico-economic entity like Britain and the Commonwealth of Nations.

You may recall the growing calls noted here and here for IREXIT and the establishing of a political party for that very purpose?

Therefore, you may wish to read in full Ray Bassett’s The Irish Government’s Brexit policy is in tatters and its bluff is now being called.

Prophecy Update 2.2: Boris Johnson warns against blocking ‘no deal’ Brexit

In Prophecy Update 2: Press reports ‘no deal’ Brexit is ‘back from the dead’ posted on 29th March 2019, I quoted Veronika West’s prophecies of 8th January, and as reiterated on 15th March, about our nation’s death being reversed. She introduces it with this bold statement…and later makes an exceptional dating of the prophecy’s fulfillment, as in my emboldened paragraph :

‘AN URGENT ‘NOW’ WORD CONCERNING GREAT BRITAIN; “FEAR NOT! LOOK TO LAZARUS TOMB FOR A TIME OF DIVINE VISITATION IS UPON YOU; A DEATH AND A RAPID ACCELERATION IN KINGDOM ADVANCEMENT IN THE MIDST OF DELAY, WATCH! FOR RESURRECTION POWER SHALL RAISE UP A NATION TO NEW AND GREATER LIFE IN ONE DAY”…!

‘…I submit to you FAITHFUL PROPHETS AND WATCHERS OVER THIS NATION that as we have now seen a vote passed to DELAY BREXIT, WE MUST NOT BE TEMPTED TO LOOSE HOPE BUT WE MUST RESIST ALL FEAR AND KEEP OUR EYES ON THAT WHICH IS TO COME FORTH FROM THE TOMB.

‘I submit to you that the next “4 MONTHS” are going to be CRITICAL MONTHS for the Nation, I believe they will be BOTH SPIRITUALLY AND POLITICALLY STRATEGIC MONTHS FOR THE BIRTHING OF OUR NATION, “APRIL, MAY, JUNE AND JULY..”, AND ESPECIALLY THE MONTH OF JULY HAS BEEN HIGHLIGHTED TO ME AS A VERY SIGNIFICANT MONTH FOR THE NATION.

‘I KEEP HEARING THESE WORDS, “WATCH AND PRAY, FOR WE HAVE NOW ENTERED INTO THE LAST TRIMESTER OF A LONG PREGNANCY, GET READY, FOR THE WATERS ARE ABOUT TO BREAK FORTH”!!’

(RB: is that the real reason behind this June’s record-breaking wet weather??)

Now, I note these extracts within this afternoon’s news feed in The Telegraph about the latest political developments, especially the stark warning of retribution by voters:

  • 8:52am – Labour’s plan to block no-deal – ‘Today, Labour will use allocated opposition time to put forward a motion seeking to suspend the Commons’ standing orders, the rules which govern MPs in the Chamber…
  • ‘Here we go again. Labour have tabled a new motion for tomorrow’s Opposition Day debate, paving the way for MPs to introduce and pass legislation in June – as they did in April – to constrain a new Prime Minister’s ability to pursue no deal on 31 October…’
  • 11:01AM – PHILIP HAMMOND: NO DEAL IS NOT AN OPTION – ‘Just moments before Boris Johnson is due to launch his leadership campaign, the Chancellor has weighed in on no deal, claiming that Parliament will move to prevent it from happening…’

  • 11:54AM – MPs face ‘mortal retribution’ if they block no deal

    ‘Taking questions from journalists, Mr Johnson said that it would be “very difficult” for MPs to “obstruct the will of the people and block Brexit”.

    ‘He adds that should they do so, they face “mortal retribution” at the ballot box as voters punish them for failing to deliver.

    “[There is a] real existential threat that faces both major parties if we fail to get this thing down,” he continues.

    “Parliament voted overwhelming to trigger Article 50. I think if we do block it collectively as Parliamentarians we will reap the whirlwind.” (Emphasis RB)

Now the EU’s reaction, noted at 12:40pm – ‘The European Commission issued a stern no deal Brexit warning as Boris Johnson took to the stage for his leadership launch to succeed Theresa May as prime minister. 

‘As Mr Johnson spoke, the EU executive warned that even if there was a no deal Brexit, Britain would still have to pay the Brexit bill, guarantee no hard border in Ireland through the Irish backstop and safeguard EU citizens’ rights living in Britain. 

‘The EU would not restart any negotiations after no deal until those condition were met, according to the document, which said the bloc would also demand continued access to British fishing waters. 

‘The no deal communication warned businesses to get ready for a possible no deal exit after the October 31 Brexit deadline. 

‘Mr Johnson has said that he would prefer a Brexit deal but insists that the withdrawal agreement must be renegotiated, which the EU has ruled out. He said that Britain should leave the EU, deal or no deal, by November 1.’

Lest we may forget, on 3rd October 2017 Boris Johnson warned the Conservative Party that the British Lion must be allowed to roar, as covered in Fulfilled Prophecy #23.

Monday newsmix – NI-Eire Prophecy Update #13

NORTHERN IRELAND

Roger Jervois writes Thursday, “Things are moving nicely, but more prayer is needed importantly. See the statement from Sinn Fein’s President [Time for a real negotiation to start in Stormont talks]:

“We are working hard to achieve the objective we all want to see – the restoration of the devolved institutions at Stormont. We had leadership-level round tables twice this week, with the working groups continuing to work through the challenging issues every day.

“Nobody is under any illusion that the route ahead will be easy. There are significant challenges ahead but we continue to make progress.

“Next week we will accelerate the process further, with more frequent meetings at leadership level to discuss the outcomes from the working groups. All our efforts are focused on reaching agreement in the weeks ahead.”

However, today’s news quotes Eire’s Foreign Minister as saying that the same issues are preventing a Stormont return for Sinn Fein, namely a disagreement over an Irish Language Act and the parties also remain at loggerheads on same-sex marriage.

REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

Jonathan Ely at Why Leave the EU? displays a photo of Ireland’s Prime Minister Leo Varadkah deeply engaged in thought, and shown over Daily Express headline: Ireland PANIC: Dublin admits being ‘second biggest losers’ of Brexit – ‘Profound change’.

This is based upon The Irish Times report Ireland will be “second biggest losers” if UK leaves EU, according to Irish Minister of Finance Paschal Donohoe. He was speaking  on Thursday at the Congress of the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU) conference in the RDS in Dublin.

‘Mr Donohoe said Ireland will be the “second biggest losers” if the UK leaves the European Union without a deal on October 31st [and] the UK would be “the biggest losers” but Ireland would also be impacted “given the level of inter-connectivity that exists between the two islands”.

“The projections of my own Department of Finance indicate that the real output of the Irish economy would be of a magnitude of five percentage points lower than it otherwise would be,” he said.

“This would affect domestic demands, it would affect our public finances and most importantly it would affect employment levels within our economy.”

Background:

These updates relate to the extensive prophetic word received by Emma Stark of the Glasgow Prophetic Centre whilst in Belfast at the end of February. She asked the Lord about Brexit, the Backstop and the Irish border and on where the solution lies. She was stunned to hear Him respond, “Emma, the solution is in Dublin.” Then He explained there’s “a tangled ball of wool sitting in Dublin’s Parliament building and the end of that ball of wool is in the hands of Leo Varadkar, the Taoiseach, or PM of Ireland.”  This very significant word explains the necessity for leaders of north and south to work together in a new way to iron out issues that prevent Britain leaving the EU.

Veronika West confirms spiritual tug-of-war

When I received and scan-read Paul Clift’s dream, (see previous post) I thought it rang a bell. So I was pleasantly surprised to find this message from Veronika West appended to my entry in Prophetic Releasers for UK Revival on Facebook, and which I hadn’t re-blogged:

Veronika West Thank you Richard great confirmation of a word I posted a few months back. A TUG OF WAR IS DEFINITELY RAGING; WE DECLARE CUT…!
“IN THIS HOUR I SEE A FIERCE BATTLE, A TUG OF WAR THAT RAGES OVER THE DESTINY AND BIRTHRIGHT OF BRITAIN, BUT FEAR NOT FOR YOUR WORDS AND PRAYERS HAVE BEEN HEARD AND HE HAS COME”!

This morning in my time of soaking in His presence, suddenly I was shown a fierce battle that is raging over the Birthright of Britain in this very hour. I saw in the Spirit Mighty Warring Warrior Angels in what looked like a fierce battle and tug of war over the future Destiny and Sovereignty of the United Kingdom.
As I watched intently, Immediately the Holy Spirit quickened these words to me, “Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your mind to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words and prayers have been heard, and I have COME because of your words and prayers.”
Now After hearing the Spirit speak, suddenly I could clearly hear the sound and the intensity of the words and prayers of the Sons and Daughters of God that have been crying out for the plans and the purposes of God to be made manifest in this hour and season over the Nation of Britain and the United Kingdom.
As I pressed in deeper into what I was hearing and seeing in the realms of the Spirit, suddenly I was shown the ‘Guardian Angel of the United Kingdom’ standing over the land. This Mighty Guardian Angel stood hundreds of feet tall and with eyes of blazing fire he stood with a raised sword and shield which completely overshadowed the whole Nation of Britain. Immediately the Holy Spirit likened this incredible Angel to me as the Archangel Michael who was the Guardian Angel and fierce Protector over the Nation of Israel, who had warred against and defeated the powerful territorial spirits that ruled over the Nations of Greece and Persia.
(“Then the messenger from God said, ‘Do you know why I have come to you? But now I will return to fight against the prince of Persia; and when I am through with him, lo, the prince of Greece will come. But I will tell you what is inscribed in the book of truth: there is none who contends by my side against these except Michael, your prince”!)
Friends, Here we see the mighty Angel of the Lord going back to fight against the demon prince of Persia to DEFEAT HIM. As we read on we see yet again another enemy spirit, the powerful demon prince of Greece, these were the territorial spirits that had rule and dominion over the Nations of Persia and Greece! These were the demonic spirits that held sway over these Nations and they needed to be dealt with by the Warrior Angels of God in order that the plans and purposes of God could be established in the land in that day.

“A SPIRITUAL TUG OF WAR IS RAGING”

Prophetically this morning I was shown this same battle that this raging in this very hour over the Birthright and Destiny of the United Kingdom, BUT I HEAR THE SPIRIT SAY, “FEAR NOT, FOR FROM THE FIRST DAY THAT YOU SET YOUR MIND TO UNDERSTAND AND YOU HUMBLED YOURSELF BEFORE YOUR GOD, YOURS WORDS AND PRAYERS HAVE BEEN HEARD, AND I HAVE COME”!

Call to intercessors to declare “CUT” over our nation!

I’m privileged that Paul Clift has shared the full details surrounding the following dream with me as they authenticate his account and its importance. The ‘Background’ provides a good example of prophetic protocol, and next post shows it confirms an earlier word:

A Prophetic Dream of the Spiritual Tug-of-War

We are in a very fierce spiritual war for this nation of the UK. The evidence is all around us. We need to earnestly pray at this time.

I saw a tug-of-war taking place. This is not a party game but a massive spiritual war between opposing sides. It is a David and Goliath situation. I was reminded from the book of Ecclesiastes that a three-stranded cord is not easily broken. There are many more strands in a rope.

The Holy Spirit said that,

“The rope will not break in the natural realm. The rope can only be broken supernaturally. If the intercessors, prayer warriors and people of God repent and rise up together then all it will take is ONE word: “CUT”. God will respond and take hold of His sword which is sharper than any two-edged sword. The rope will be cleanly cut. The effect will be the two teams pulling on the rope will be taken by surprise. Each team will fall to the ground some distance from each other. Each team will be in a heap wondering what has happened.

“Do you not know there is an enemy within? They smile and shake hands, but deep inside they are not for this nation, the United Kingdom. They are traitors!”

I was taken aback at the word ‘traitor’ but the Holy Spirit reminded me that Jesus called the religious leaders of the day white-washed sepulchres.

“Do not be deceived by what you can see, because I see deep into the very depths of each human heart. In these days I am shaking everything that can be shaken and exposing for all to see the inner motives of people’s hearts.

“The heaps of people on the ground represents disarray, not knowing what to do, a difficult season. However, there will be a realisation after a short time that the United Kingdom is no longer in a tug-of-war. There will be a recovery. The EU will begin to blame each other and there will be much infighting. They will not recover.

“I need to bring Europe to its knees because I long for all people everywhere to come to repentance but pride is the obstacle. At this time intercede for Europe but repent and declare “CUT” over this nation.” [Underlining RB]

Gordian Knot Legend

Eve, my wife, noticed something on the TV and told me that I might be interested in what was being said in an interview.

On the morning of Wednesday May 28th 2019 an interview took place on BBC with Jacob Rees-Mogg (JRM). The interviewer asked him about a comment Jeremy Hunt had made earlier in the day describing the current situation between the EU and the UK “as a Gordian knot”. JRM described the legend.:

“There was an ox cart tied up with a complicated knot. An oracle had declared that any man who could unravel its elaborate knots was destined to become ruler of all of Asia. Alexander the Great wanted to untie the knot but struggled to do so without success. He then reasoned that it would make no difference how the knot was loosed, so he drew his sword and sliced it in half with a single stroke.”

Wednesday 22nd May 2019 5.25am

Paul and Eve Clift started Healing Rooms England & Wales 16 years ago and passed it on last year but continue as Directors of Halifax Healing Rooms. They are Divisional Directors of Healing Rooms, which looks after about 15 nations across Europe, mostly Eastern Europe, and are part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) at Kings Church, Halifax, which they’d started in their home.

Background:

The Prophetic Dream and the Gordian Knot were submitted in accordance with 1 Cor 14:29 to the SLT on Thursday 30th May 2019. At the next day’s SLT meeting both were considered and it was decided the Prophetic Dream and Gordian Knot should be read at the following Sunday’s morning meeting of Kings Church, when Paul was scheduled to conclude his teaching series on gifts of the Holy Spirit.

However, upon waking on Sunday Paul encountered a strong spiritual attack upon his health, which they realised was because of the dream. He needed help to get to church and was allowed to bring the prophetic dream at the beginning of the meeting – only then did the opposition start to lift.  A period of prayer and intercession based upon the prophetic word was held later.

In fact only the previous Sunday, 26th May 2019, the full time leader at King’s Church, Paul McMahon, had recognized the real need to pray urgently for this nation. Although this significant prophetic dream had come to Paul Clift days earlier whilst away, he felt constrained not to respond. He later realised this was appropriate for the subsequent submission of the dream to the church’s leadership.

Remembering and anticipating ‘Deliverance-Days’ 1944 & 2019 – Britain’s Destiny

In his latest paper Dave Chapman briefly reviews pertinent parts of our history relating to spiritual conflict, as well as legal niceties, and looks forward to an upcoming ‘D-Day’ this year which we trust and pray will be Britain’s ‘Destiny-Day’, or day of deliverance.

I’m grateful for his permission to publish this document that draws attention not only to the spiritual but also to the legal rather than political truths of our Nation’s situation.

REMEMBERING D-DAY

AN OLD WAR

It is the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy on the 6th of this month.
Though the War itself is not to be celebrated, the beginning of its end indeed is!  ‘D’ is simply a militarily term used as a countdown to the day of action – hence ‘D’ minus 3, 2, 1, then ‘D’-Day itself. In the event it became our ‘Deliverance’ Day, as Britain with its allies, including America, invaded Normandy in a western alliance to drive back and defeat the forces of Hitler; while Russia under Stalin, invaded from the East, all on cue. This long, bloody War was entering its last phase. Thank God for the freedoms though that were won in those ensuing days.

Jonathan Dimbleby, on interview for Radio 4’s ‘Today’ programme on Friday 31st May, when asked about his father Richard Dimbleby, the first War Reporter for the BBC in 1936, ever speaking about his own role or experiences after the war, said:

“Not really.  Like so many he was so relieved victory had been achieved, that democracy and the rule of law had triumphed, he did not talk about the War……he thought you just got on with the future”.  (Emphases mine)

“Theresa May and Leo Varadkar released a statement on Sunday evening after being updated on the progress of the talks by Secretary of State for Northern Ireland Karen Bradley and the Tánaiste Simon Coveney.

It read: “We welcome the constructive engagement shown by all parties to date. It is clear to us that the Northern Ireland political parties wish to see the institutions of the Belfast / Good Friday Agreement restored, but operating on a more credible and sustainable basis.

“While broad consensus has been reached on some issues, other areas remain to be resolved.

“The Secretary of State and Tánaiste believe that there is a genuine but narrow window of opportunity to reach agreement in the immediate period ahead and that it is essential to continue and intensify talks to this end.

“As Prime Minister and Taoiseach, we will continue to monitor this progress closely. 

“We believe it is imperative that the parties now move without delay to engaging substantively on the shape of a final agreement.”

Fulfilled Prophecy #13 cont’d: investment analyst says EU’s collapse now “imminent”

Thank you to Jonathan Ely at Why Leave The EU? for alerting me to yet more news of signs indicative of the fulfillment of the prophetic word delivered on 17th Nov 2015 by Bible teacher David Noakes urging Britain to “Come out!” of the EU ahead of its Fall.

Some years ago international investment analyst and advisor Doug Casey predicted the fall of the EU and was asked by Nick Giambruno, “What’s changed since then?”

“Well, what has changed,” replies Doug (emphases mine), “is that the entire situation has gotten much worse. The inevitable has now become the imminent.”

“The European Union evolved, devolved actually, from basically a free trade pact among a few countries to a giant, dysfunctional, overreaching bureaucracy. Free trade is an excellent idea. However, you don’t need to legislate free trade; that’s almost a contradiction in terms. A free trade pact between different governments is unnecessary for free trade. An individual country interested in prosperity and freedom only needs to eliminate all import and export duties, and all import and export quotas. When a country has duties or quotas, it’s essentially putting itself under embargo, shooting its economy in the foot. Businesses should trade with whomever they want for their own advantage.

He supports his case with historical facts too, especially on how the many differences between various nations and desire for independence are now rocking the EU boat:

“The EU was built upon a foundation of sand, doomed to failure from the very start. The idea was ill-fated because the Swedes and the Sicilians are as different from each other as the Poles and the Irish. There are linguistic, religious, and cultural differences, and big differences in the standard of living. Artificial political constructs never last. The EU is great for the “elites” in Brussels; not so much for the average citizen…

“There are movements in Corsica and a half dozen other departments in France. Even in Belgium, the home of the EU, the chances are excellent that Flanders will separate at some point (See Telegraph’s Belgian king meets Flemish far right for first time since 1930s amid fears of ‘Vlexit’ breakaway.) The chances are better in the future that the remaining countries in Europe are going to fall apart as opposed to being compressed together artificially…”

Asked “How does Brexit affect the future of the European Union?”, Doug replies:

“Well, it’s the beginning of the end. The inevitable has now become the imminent. Britain has always been perhaps the most different culture of all of those in the European Union…”

And things ARE starting to shake – and there’s fighting talk! – because, as Ambrose Evans-Pritchard reports, Italy to activate its ‘parallel currency’ in defiant riposte to EU ultimatum:

‘The eurozone elites are looking straight down the barrel of an Italian economic revolt and a parallel currency. Subversive “minibot” treasury notes are back in play…

‘By some maniacal reflex the dying Commission of Jean-Claude Juncker has chosen this moment to draw up the first indictment letter of the revamped debt and deficits regime. Italy faces €3.5bn of fines for failure to tighten its belt. It has 48 hours to respond.

Brexit Party God-incidence via ‘Bridge o’er the Pond’ (GPS #33)

At long, long last another instance of the spiritual bridge over ‘the Pond’ ! (An imaginary supra-natural bridge linking Britain with North America used by Holy Spirit for delivering the same, or similar, teaching, messages or prophetic words on opposite sides of the North Atlantic ocean on the same, or next, day – see earlier posts.)

As told last Thursday in the previous post, it was the day of the EU elections when I emailed Dave Chapman about an intercessor at his church having contacted Nigel Farage. We didn’t proceed further in view of the Bank Holiday weekend and awaiting results of the election. However, on the holiday Monday, Canadian intercessor Maxine Phyllis left this notable comment to the dream about the next Prime Minister, and which warrants separate publication (note; a ‘gremlin’ treated it as ‘spam’!):

‘From Atlantic Canada: This brings me to an experience I had with the Lord in which I was given a free air ticket in 2008, to travel to England where I spent two weeks based in Somerset County. I flew out of Halifax, Nova Scotia on October 31, 2008 and spent the Remembrance Day season in Britain. As a descendant of Canadian war veterans it was a huge deal to me, but the LORD – the Holy One of Israel – had something to show me about where the political realms came to an end and the Kingdom of God begins. I saw in the Spirit a great dark veil spread over all of North America and I heard the Lord say “The entire western hemisphere needs to learn the way of the cross for what comes next.”

‘From this perspective, as I read through the text of this spiritual dream above, it speaks volumes to me about what’s to come next for the Judeo-Christian world. From a Kingdom perspective the BREXIT campaign is NOT just about upholding democracy for Britain, but it’s about preserving freedom for Kingdom sons to become all they were created to be for such a time as this. All of creation is waiting to see it, as the fullness of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit takes up residence on earth as He is in heaven (Romans 8:17-21). Therefore, any political leader who promises Brexit in order to support democracy only will not be able to complete the task because, in the fullness of the Kingdom, there comes an end to freedom for individuals to continue promoting the sinful human nature. Whether he knows it or not, a governing authority put in place as a Prime Minister responsible for carrying Brexit to its completion, is one put in place by God to facilitate the separation of goats and sheep (Romans 13, Matthew 25). Unless he understands how God is using him he will be thrown into utter confusion by thinking his highest goal is to ensure financial freedom for a Judeo-Christian nation; even if it means ensuring those who practice rebellion towards God are free to continue doing so.

‘Since I returned to Atlantic Canada I’ve had powerful visions from heaven about the New Jerusalem coming down from God through the UK and over to North America, for the sole purpose of bringing forth the fulfillment of His promises about Israel and the Jewish people. On the day of the Brexit referendum – June 23, 2016 – the Lord led me to go prayer walking on behalf of the UK and I saw in the Spirit an open heaven between Atlantic Canada and the heavenly realms over England. I saw the LORD stand up from His throne and applaud. I asked Him how to pray and He revealed to me that His plans lined up with another 23rd day described in the book of Esther (Esther 8 – 23rd day of Sivan). He led me to pray for the Hamans to be hung on their own gallows. Then He showed me it was a time for the Church to write new decrees, however we see fit. The goal is the same now as it was then: to defend His sovereign purposes for Israel and the Jewish people. The nations are redeemed, or not, through their willingness to line up with His plans accordingly. We need to pray for all our governing authorities to be used as facilitators for this cause: to bring forth new wine and oil related to His coming Kingdom and His will to be done on earth as He is in heaven.

‘In the face of all that, the key word that hits my spirit from this dream described above, is the word ‘SCROLL’. It speaks to me of the Great Scroll of Isaiah which was preserved as one of the most important Dead Sea scrolls and which, when translated into English, proves the veracity of the original King James Bible. The text of Isaiah in the original King James is almost word-for-word identical to the Great Scroll of Isaiah translated directly from Hebrew to English. Also, the word SCROLL in this dream speaks to me of Revelation 10:10. I’ve had literal experiences here in Atlantic Canada with this, hearing the voice of the seven thunders speaking from up over the UK to the free Judeo-Christian world. I’ve had visitations from the Lord as a result of having met Him in a powerful way at the Morning Room of Wesley’s Chapel, Bristol, UK. It’s like an open heaven from there to Atlantic Canada follows me around and I often hear the word “SCROLL”; as if this scroll described in Revelation 10:10 is originating from the ministry begun by the Wesleys in Bristol and London. There is something decidedly English about it all, as the English language was spread far and wide along with the distribution of the King James Bible, and English is now the world’s ‘lingua franca’ – the ‘go-to’ language for people of other tongues to have one common language in order to communicate.

‘I’ve made it a personal mission to pray for Nigel Farage to be transformed into a Kingdom son, so that Brexit will be used to point people to the coming Kingdom of God. Then the freedom that is so desperately being sought will be used to exalt above all else the Name of the Lord and His Word. That the Prime Minister in this dream above placed his head on the author’s shoulder, speaks of him resting his understanding on the Presence of the Kingdom of God in the life of the author, and on the truth that ‘the government will be on His shoulders’. (Isaiah 9:6). The Prime Minister in this dream is asking for understanding and support from the Kingdom of God to sustain our God-given freedom for the Judeo-Christian nations. He needs to be transformed into a Kingdom son to make it happen. He needs to learn what it means to take up the cross and follow Christ – first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. This is an anointing and mantle the Lord has given me to teach to the ‘entire western hemisphere’ but it currently appears that the darkness will get darker still before even Spirit-led, mature believers will agree to meet the Lord at the cross in a personal way.

‘Feel free to connect for the purposes of interceding for the Kingdom’s plans for Brexit to prevail. I have a site – Through Fire and Water – which the Lord continues to prompt me to rename ‘gloryofzioncanada.ca’. He has done a very hidden work from a Canadian perspective related to the cross, for the purpose of standing in the gap for both UK and USA.’

Maxine’s message evokes strong personal connections for several reasons.

First, I well recall my first sightings of the other end of the ‘bridge’ upon flying over Newfoundland and Nova Scotia en-route to Toronto, as well as down to Florida for the Caribbean and inland to Arizona.

Also, within 10 miles of our home in East Hampshire are three Canadian war memorial sites. Our associated church of St Mary’s in Bramshott has a cemetery of over 300 graves of our Canadian allies fallen in the Great War (Alison Avery’s photos include those of Canadian Memorial planting of maple trees).

My earliest memory, however, is told in my 2,000th post in connection with my writing as well as sketching a short story which my class-teacher commended to the headmistress of my primary school. (Inspired by the motto “The Mountie always gets his man”, the hero received a medal from the young Queen Elizabeth for his bravery.)  And what’s more, as I blogged about that we were following the Netflix drama ‘When Calls The Heart’, which features the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Mulling over ‘May-hem’, the Battle for Britain, the EU elections

[Prepared on Thursday 23rd May, the afternoon before PM May’s resignation, and held pending permission for added quotation.]

Such exceptionally historic days for our nation and, as a consequence, for the federal union of European nations. Therefore, I offer a few thoughts jotted at the beginning of April and then on the subsequent launch of the Brexit Party and Friday’s unexpected elections for UK representatives to sit in the European Parliament!

Seven weeks ago today I jotted thoughts percolating in my mind over the demise of democracy, as shown in public reactions to the legitimate result of the largest vote in British history encouraged by our dishonest representatives in Parliament, aided and abetted by grossly muddled and incompetent government. We see the collapse of the Conservative party as its leader Theresa May scythes through its grassroots’ support, on top of the ‘May-hem’ in politics, media and across public and business domains.

AND what an astonishing week it’s been with the whole party now against its leader as Prime Minister, but who steadfastly refuses to resign – yet!  I regret to come to no other logical conclusion but that Mrs May has deliberately betrayed the electorate and trying to compromise with every shade of opinion.

Also, I’m reminded how the grave state of national breakdown, not only politically but also spiritually and therefore morally, exactly fits what I saw emerging out of thin air 15 years ago as an open vision of Britain (as here).

Let me stress straight away, as when collating my expanding series of blogs about the EU and the In/Out question: my own politics are non-partisan because the Kingdom of God has priority.

SOME SCRIPTURES

Let’s check a couple of pertinent New Testament scriptures penned by Paul. The first was written about 10 years before Nero persecuted Christians after the great fire of Rome, and then followed by many other persecutions across the Roman Empire. Yet such atrocities did not result in this passage’s ‘redaction’ at the hands of the early Church for they appreciated the essay’s content was inspired by the Holy Spirit; that is, they were words from God Himself. Here’s the basic Christian perspective of worldly, ruling authorities:

Submit to Government

1. Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore, whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. 4 For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. 5 Therefore, you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor. Another ten years and Paul instructs his protégé Timothy upon responsibilities in caring for souls:

Pray for All Men

1. Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in [authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. MODERN & BIBLICAL PROPHECY

Therefore, much as it is right to weigh, test and question prophetic words that seem to have endorsed Mrs May’s premiership, nevertheless according to scripture her position and authority are God-ordained. So, even if we doubt a prophet’s claims about a word from God saying she’s His person for the UK (and infer they come from the prophet’s opinion only), such a claim is nevertheless accurate in being in accord with scripture.

After all, the Lord used satan and its schemes promulgated through the leaders of the ancient Jews for His purposes in bringing about a plot to crucify His own son, our Lord Jesus Christ, for our own good…!

So, we could say even arch-betrayer Judas Iscariot was God’s man for that time!

Thus the Lord is no doubt using Mrs May and the may-hem she’s created, as well as manipulated within her government, party and Parliament to bring about His purposes and Britain’s End-time destiny in Him. All this unprecedented chaos and confusion fully accords with what some prophets said about the purpose behind these convulsions.

In other words, our fuller prophetical understanding of the mess the nation has fallen into, lies in not only national leaders’ rank rebellion against God and their disavowal of our unique, most ancient Christian heritage, but also in an appreciation that our turmoil and humiliation is precisely what He is permitting for our own eventual good.

Furthermore, let’s remind ourselves of the mechanism of this great apostasy foreseen by Paul and stand in dreadful awe and holy fear of his description of how God will allow and enable those reprobates to empower, yet imperil, themselves. Note how it happens:

‘…The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.‘ [2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, emphases added]

BREXIT PARTY’s STANCE

Since my drafting the above, Nigel Farage has returned to politics with the launch of the Brexit Party and spectacularly overtaking Conservative and Labour support, as shown in pre-election polls (as herein). We’ve now witnessed the electorate’s contempt for her  governments’ failure by Nigel thrashing and trashing Theresa’s Tories into fifth place!!! (Slumping to its lowest ever share in European elections.)

Further to his article on Brexit and our Democratic Responsibility, Dave Chapman tells me that “one of our prayer partners in the House of Prayer felt she had to write to some key politicians.” He writes, “Just thought: Old Testament prophets regularly got involved in speaking to kings in Israel, often giving their tacit backing as well as rebuking them.

“The particular prayer partner comments that Nigel Farage’s ancestors were French Huguenots, so like Trump, there is a trace of steely Godly influence somewhere in his DNA.  In fact, after the Referendum result she wrote to him – because she believed the Lord prompted her to – commending him and thanking him for all his input. 

“She specifically said to him that there was another who was reviled, in fact even more than he, and was crucified for such as us.  Some time later she had a reply, apologising for his delay in responding, as he’d decided to write personally to everyone who wrote him.

“From that letter it became clear to her that he understood our heritage in this Nation was of a Judeo-Christian nature and there would be a real battle to maintain it, even though he did not have her kind of faith.”

GOD’S STRATEGY FOR EU ELECTIONS?

Now permit me to speculate: if the Brexit Party wins the European elections in Britain by a landslide then their representation in Brussels will give huge support to other nations’ rejection of the EU’s dominance, thereby assisting in its prophesied downfall. In fact, the one-time Prime Minister of the Czech Republic ended his speech at the Party’s Olympia Rally almost pleading, on behalf of the peoples in Europe who want to be free of the EU’s domination, that Britain lead the way by completing our exit.

Had Mrs May not been so obdurate in delaying implementation of Brexit, then Britain would have left the EU on 29 March and we wouldn’t be eligible for representation in its parliament – and thus unable to rock the EU’s boat, as is likely with the Brexit Party’s expected wins.

So in some mysterious way, maybe the now resigned Prime Minister Theresa May and ‘reignited’ politician Nigel Farage are actually serving the Lord’s purposes!

As Dave closes our correspondence: “Btw, what would Leave voters have done in these EU Elections if there were no Brexit Party?  Must have been a ‘God thing’!”

TODAY’S  EUROPEAN  PARLIAMENTARY  ELECTIONS

According to God’s word in Psalm 145:4, ‘One generation shall declare Your works to another’:

We decree and declare a fresh awareness of the Godly heritage within our political system, of the Biblical foundations under it and of the principles released through it, will sweep across this land. We declare media, churches, schools and individuals will see the relevance and significance of that heritage; teaching and instructing according to the truths of history.

We thank You for that Godly heritage and in the Name of Jesus, we declare it will be recovered, restored and connected to Your future purpose for this land. We decree and declare this Nation will be connected, shaped, led, governed and influenced according to Your Kingdom purpose and plan, and we decree the outworking of the European Parliamentary elections will cause this Nation to move according to the Spirit of God.

Even as the winds of God are blowing across this land, we declare His people will stand upon their watch, to see and to pray, that the political weariness upon the land will be lifted and His Will done. We declare He is working within the power structures of our land, and He is working within the streets and communities, that this Nation will walk in the fullness of its God-given calling.

In view of the several prophetic words and visions since the Millennium about Great Britain leaving the European Union, I’ve been obliged to take notice of the political world much nearer to home than the Middle-East and USA. The EU Referendum increased that coverage and when compiling a data hub of the blog’s many postings at Brexit vs EU, to avoid anyone taking offence I prefaced it by clarifying my political stance, viz:  

‘Being politically non-partisan my main motivation is to follow the Lord and assist in bringing His Kingdom on earth. Noting prophetical words issued in Nov-Dec 2015 about the EU and specifically of coming international upheavals, I blogged on this topic as we approached the 2016 Referendum and especially for checking the accuracy of those words…’

‘Friends kindly offered their researches for publication, one of whom – Dave Chapman, author of EU’s Background & An Alternative, and more – received a letter from Nigel Farage about The Brexit Party. Dave offers the following opinion which is published with his kind permission:

BREXIT – OUR DEMOCRATIC RESPONSIBILITY

It is no secret that Ann and I have believed for a long time now that the UK should Leave the EU. We, like so many, thought that action would be secured following the Referendum result near three years ago now. It is still not the case, as Parliament has done its best to ‘kick it into the long grass’.

However, what fades with it is not just a personal view, or even the clear sense that to leave the EU is God’s purpose for us, but that Democracy itself – that is, that our individual vote matters and the result will be carried out by Parliament – is over.

Recent Parliamentary motions were won or lost in our Parliament by as little as one or two votes, and the decision was upheld. That is democracy in action. But the same principle has not been applied where our votes cast resulted in a clear victory for Leave in 2016!

The vote to Leave the EU, resulted in (as part of 100% of those who voted) a 51.89% to 48.11% majority to Leave. In terms of actual votes cast though, it was 17.4 million for Leave, and 16.1 million for Stay/Remain. There is a clear, quantitative difference of 8% between those figures – not a small margin at all.

How our Democracy evolved

A brief look at how Parliament evolved should be useful. First of all, the Magna Carta forced the infamous King John in 1215 to ask Parliament – then made up only of Lords and Nobles – for more money to fight his wars.   Simon de Montfort involved “ordinary” people, knights and land owners, not just the original nobility, by 1265 – they fought it out literally in those days!

With Scotland having its own Parliament around the same time, and Wales joining in under Henry VIII in 1542, Westminster strengthened its hand. Still though, arguments raged between who should Govern, the King or Parliament? This all came to a head when in the 1630’s King Charles I suspended Parliament for 11 years which led to the Civil War in England in 1642-1651. This resulted in the King’s execution and Cromwell, the General for the Parliamentarians, becoming Lord Protector after the final battle at Worcester between the King and the Parliamentarians in September 1651.

This war established the primacy of Parliament over the Nation’s Laws, so that the next King (Charles II) himself, when he finally returned from France, was firmly put in his place under the Laws of the land – that which the Magna Carta 400 years before had stated.

[By the way, two key yet-to-be Presidents of the United States of America, Adams and Jefferson, visited Worcester in 1786 and, astonished at there being no recognition of Worcester’s place as the final battle of the Civil War to secure the Nation’s privileged freedoms then enjoyed, declared:

“And do Englishmen so soon forget the ground where their liberty was fought for?   Tell your neighbours and your children that this is holy ground…… all England should come in pilgrimage to this hill once a year”.

A plaque by a Virginia Oak Tree on Fort Royal Hill in Worcester marks the spot. They recognised how vital a part the establishment of religious and democratic freedoms played in this Land.]

The slow march towards full democracy continued. Men owning a house in a City received the right to Vote in 1867 and then those in the countryside also in 1884. The rest of men over 21 had to wait until 1918 for the privilege. For women this was not gained until 1930. Finally it was in 1969 the voting age for all was reduced to 18.

What I have left out though are details of the massive civil arguments, marches and movements, over those years that secured this vital privilege we have enjoyed.

Our Response

Complacency on our part at this time will lose the meaningful value of a Vote. I reckon to have lived during one of the most privileged periods of time, and especially with regard to freedoms and liberties, probably ever, but that can soon be stolen from us if we do not stand up and be counted. For our Nation’s sake, and for the future of a democratic society that delivers on the will of the people, we need to act. We can still do so by means of the Ballot Box with the use of our current hard-won privilege, by taking part in upcoming European Parliamentary elections set for the 23rd May.

(It is worth noting the nature of the EU Parliament is very different to ours. Basically it acts to ‘rubber stamp’ Laws and Regulations introduced from EU Councils further up the power chain. It cannot enact Laws it chooses to introduce, so don’t be fooled by language we are familiar with here, but it does still need voices of liberty there).

I have never before been active on what may be deemed as a Political front, but this matter is greater than Party Politics. It is a matter of protecting and ensuring that the medium of Democracy continues to be the basis on which our Nation is Governed. Trust must exist between the Electorate and Parliament if our democracy is to hold good. At present that has broken down.

The Brexit Party have suddenly emerged as a vehicle to press home these key things. One, that we Leave the EU as instructed by us, the Electorate, securing the principle of our current Democracy, and two, that MP’s recognise they are employed by us, and so cease to do just what they prefer. They have to learn they are servants, and not masters. I hate to think where the alternative could go.

You must already be aware of a quote something like this but said many years ago “bad men need nothing more than that good men should look on, and do nothing” – J S Mills in 1867.

That’s exactly the challenge to us.

If you still doubt whether the Brexit Party can deliver what you could back at these Elections, I suggest you spend a little time to watch and hear Richard Tice (Entrepreneur and Chairman of Brexit Party), Anne Widdecombe (55 years in the Conservative Party and latterly of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ fame – in fired-up form indeed!), James Wells – previously Head of the Office of National Statistics UK until he resigned his most senior post last month – and of course Nigel Farage on this video:
