Rather than read longish blogs, papers and articles on-screen I prefer to print a hard-copy to peruse at leisure over coffee – the better ones’ getting their important points daubed over with a highlighter pen and mulled over (as with Thomas Harry’s directive from the Lord, An Urgent Word for the Global Church). John Barber’s linked below is one such blog, which I read a few weeks ago and tick-marked much of what he writes. I hope you, too, will appreciate this item for I’m pleased to find we almost see eye-to-eye, and so this serves as an introduction to John’s writings:
Are there prophets today and does it matter if there are?

Thank you Richard for sharing this. I noted a spike earlier with folk reading this article and suspect this was the reason. I am both humbled and encouraged. I am sore tempted to comment on what is happening around us at this extraordinary time but sense I need to do so sparingly in articles like the one you kindly shared and rather concentrate on completing my book “Prophets of the Bible”. Every time I complete a chapter or a prophet I post on my website. All these posts are found on https://jrbpublications.com/blog/ May God bless you and your readers as we seek Him and may it be as weak and limited our service is, all things will be done for His glory!

You’re more than welcome John and I trust and pray many will visit and absorb the wealth of Bible teaching on this important topic. It’s a selfless service to the Lord in devoting your time and efforts.
